This is probably old news to some people, but it's sooo cool: A keychain device that enables people to turn off TVs just about anywhere According to the article, TV-B-Gone costs $15 and is capable of turning off about 1000 TV models.

Google Desktop - Part 2

Nathan Weinberg apparently spoke to Google's Marrisa Mayer and comments on my concerns . Nathan claims that #10 and #1 are by design. Yes, apparently they are by design - it would be quite hard to incidentally hook up the WinInet.dll or to install a BHO.
