Super Bowl XL comes to Windows Live Local (formerly Virtual Earth)

The ViaVirtualEarth community is rocking.  This week they debuted a mashup for the Super Bowl, that lets you check out sites in Detroit with a touristy theme, as well as browse the sites of all of the previous Superbowls. It has Scores, MVPs and other trivia for each game as well.

I have a dream - Aussie maps on Windows Live Local with Aussie mashups. I live in hope.....

According to a comment by Virtual Earth PM Steve Lombardi on Scoble's blog (http://scobleizer.wordpress.com/2006/02/03/congrats-to-local-live-team#comment-12913), Aussie maps on Virtual Earth are coming "soon" :-)
