Responses from Where are all the developers??

Last week, I wrote a post Where are all the developers??

This generated a load of comments, and I thank each and everyone who took the time to add their comments

Some of the issues/concerns identified were:

  • cost  / time out of the office
  • lack of details about specific sessions
  • not enought content for web developers
  • info is all online, via blogs, webcasts, forums
  • the community provides information / support

However, it wasn't all negative. A number of comments were from attendees who were looking forward to come along and be part of the action.

So, what am we going to do with this feedback? For a start, we will use it as input for the *next* events that we put together. We need to make these things relevant to those who attend.

FWIW - In terms of not having details about upcoming sessions -  grab a copy of either TechEd 2006 session picker (with maps) or the WPF Tech.ED Session Picker or just look at the TechEd RSS Feed. All the session info is there for your perusal.
