To be fair (or because misery loves company), the broadband situation here in New Zealand is equally disgraceful (or laughable if you're in a philosophical frame of mind).

I think of it as not so much broadband as "slightlychubbyband".

Broadband is the only technology I know of that has actually got slower of the years. While CPU's, GPU's, HDD's and RAM double every 3 years Broadband which started as dark fibre at 10mb/s has gone down to 256KB/s. Maybe we need a new catchy term ;) Save me please!

I'm glad Ziggy agrees. Just a shame he did practically nothing to recitify the problem when he was freakin' CEO OF TELSTRA. *breath*

I'm glad this guy is helping to decide whether we go to Nuclear power or not.

PS: Frank, that Javascript you have going on in this site makes it very unfriendly. As I type this theres a 2 second freeze every 4 seconds.
