Didn't care for it, myself, the first time I saw it. One wrong scoot across the desktop and I've suddenly placed a thousand-dollar purchase.
I concur. The 'click' is arguably one of the most commonly used computing interfaces, no serious UI designer would abandon it. Their idea is well implmented though, and reminds me of 'Swatch Internet Time' for some reason :).
Yeah - the website is cool and "works" but I don't see any reason to abandon the click. It's well known and I think it's more intuitive than wiping across a button or scribbling a circle around it.
