Twitter Tuesday.

Jeremiah Owyang wrote recently Some Conversations have shifted to Twitter

I felt this happening to me earlier in the year and I wrote a post about it back in April : Blogging takes a back seat to twitter and then in May : Twitter Continues to Rule My Attention

We spoke about Twitter the recent workshop I facilitated as a great way to connect with people.

Seems like this discussion is gaining ground all over the place.  Nick Hodge refers to this as The Immersive Conversation.

Me ? - I just like it because it's quick and easy and with tools like Tweet Scan, I can quickly see what's going on

# re: Twitter Tuesday.

I am not subscribed to twitter...  I run my business and reading emails and tech articles means I have little time left for reading blogs...  not to mention personal blogging...

My point is there are only so many hours in a day, and you find yourself wondering how other busy people manage what they are reading...  having a PA censor your input is good if you have a trustworthy PA and you can afford it...

I cant...

So invariably, discussions occur which I feel I can contribute positively to and genuinely interest me, and I miss out...  This true also of meetings and interactions...

It finds me stuffing 48 hours of work into 14 hour work days through some serious multitasking...   leaving me 2 hours to wind down and choose how I interact with the online community personally.

I reckon the buck stops all...  not here.

Cheers.
