So my Turkey soup was a hit. My daughter actually thought Dad was cool when one of her friends commented how good the soup was… Wow those accolades are certainly few and far between.  I simply did what my mom and my grandmothers did, all the right ingredients and all fresh ingredients. Every spoonful contained a collection of fresh herbs from my garden and fresh veggies from Albertsons (except the green pepper which is still growing in the garden) and some wonderful home brewed stock.

The Tablet PC is cool too, don’t you think, it has all the right ingredients too.  Over the past 10 plus years there have been many attempts to mainstream the pen. Remember the Newton or the General Magic or the GridPAD? What about Windows for Pen O/S (it’s still in use today), these were all awesome attempts to integrate the Pen and Ink into our daily lives, most were masterfully built and superbly executed on for their time but IMHO the reason they didn’t succeed was a lack of all the right ingredients… 

That’s why I believe so much in the Tablet PC. Think about it, this is the ultimate fusion of hardware and software. It’s not one company that will make this platform a success it’s all of us. The hardware is improving dramatically everyday, our new 2005 OS is amazing and the innovation and support we’re seeing from the ISV community is simply unbelievable. Put all that together and you have one nice tasting soup.
