I attended the conference and I agree with you, I had a great time.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I attended the MS and Alt.Net session and I thought it was really interesting to hear &amp;quot;Microsoft's&amp;quot; viewpoint on open source.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I hope that MS change their approach with creating own tools on already existing open source (OS) applications, such as NHibernate and Entity Framework, and instead provide development resources to the existing OS applictions :)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;MS could provide support and learning material for the OS applications.&lt;/p&gt;
