Smart Client Presentation by Digital Architects - Jon Barcellona

I was very fortunate to have one of our local partners, Digital Architects do a presentation on some Smart Client applications they have been developing.

Jon Barcellona did the presentation and it was awesome. A little information about Jon.

Jon Barcellona
Chief Executive Officer

Jon Barcellona is a business technologist with more than 25 years experience in the software industry. Jon has a long history of industry firsts in delivering business applications suites on next generation technology.

Some of his product achievements include: (a) one of the first accounting product suites for the IBM PC in 1981, (b) one of the first “network generation” C product suites in 1986, (c) the first accounting product suite on Windows 3.1, OS/2 2.0 and Windows NT (these products were part of the initial IBM OS/2 and Microsoft Windows NT rollouts) in the early 1990’s, (d) the first Java based accounting suite integrated “shrink-wrapped” ecommerce products in 1998. Recent high profile products that Jon has contributed to are IBM WebSphere, Microsoft Business Portal, and other next generation Microsoft products that are yet to be released.

When not at the helm of Digital Architects, Jon, a former Alaskan outback guide and current PADI SCUBA Dive Master, can be found somewhere outside and probably in the water.
