Microsoft Security Development Lifecycle (SDL): Tools Repository
The following security-related tools are required or recommended for use as part of the SDL. For details on how these tools fit into the SDL, please refer to the SDL process guidance section of this Web site. The tools are available for free download from the Microsoft download center. The following table briefly describes each of the tools and provides a link to their location.

I work in the Trustworthy Computing organization at Microsoft Corporation. My work is to get the word out to the developer community on all that Microsoft is doing around security and privacy within Microsoft. There's quite alot of work done around security, but the public is not always upto date on what we're doing, despite our efforts to be transparent about it. I'd like to change that going forward and increase the awareness for Microsoft's efforts around security within application and software development.
