Kim Sanchez on our team forwarded this to me. It's really good interview from a psychological aspect on the online behavior and how it differs from the offline public behavior that people display and act on. Definitely worth listening to. If your a developer out there writing software for social networking and chat rooms, online safety for children/teens and cyber-bullying are real issues that we can IT can help solve and drive legislation for.

I work in the Trustworthy Computing organization at Microsoft Corporation. My work is to get the word out to the developer community on all that Microsoft is doing around security and privacy within Microsoft. There's quite alot of work done around security, but the public is not always upto date on what we're doing, despite our efforts to be transparent about it. I'd like to change that going forward and increase the awareness for Microsoft's efforts around security within application and software development.
