LitwareHR and Windows Server 2003

I have received many emails and one blog comment about LitwareHR needing Windows 2003 to run. The reason is explained here.

Note that you can download a virtual image of Windows Server 2003 here (free eval copy). You will of course need Virtual PC to run the image. BTW: we also just release Virtual PC 2007 (free as well) here.

As I agree this could be a bit cumbersome for some of you, I know that Ariel is investigating a "port" to XP. Feel free to join the party on Codeplex

Hopefully with all this you will be able to have a running copy of LitwareHR on your XP machine.

Worst case scenario, you can always:

- watch the videos here and here

- read the documentation

- look through the code

 Enjoy.

# LitwareHR and Vista

I'm assuming (After looking at the reason) that it will run under Vista (IIS7) fine?

Thx!

Actually, it won't since ADAM is not yet compatible with Vista. See the related discussion here: http://www.codeplex.com/LitwareHR/Thread/View.aspx?ThreadId=7203
