I passed!!!

I did somehow manage to pass the web developer exam. I guess I was good at guessing the right answers, because there were a bunch of stuff I really did not know anything about. I don't know how many questions I got about the PAGE directive and caching. I got 715 points - which basically barely passing, because you need 700 points to pass.

Since I had some extra time, then I decided to take an exam that I felt I should be able to handle based on my experience. It is called 70–300: Analyzing Requirements and Defining Microsoft Corporation .NET Solution Architectures. It was a fun exam to take, because it had very little technical nitty gritty that you had to answer, but more testing of the high level understanding of our .net technologies and also making sure you knew how to run real world big projects. Luckily I had done plenty of projects, so that part was relatively easy and I hope I have a good understanding of the technology (otherwise I am badly misleading my customers :þ). I passed that exam also.

Now I got to figure out whether to take the developing for SQL or developing for BizTalk exam that is an elective in the MCSD degree. But since I will not be doing any exams until next years internal training conference, then I have plenty of time to decide. Maybe I should beta test SQL 2005 exams if I figure out when those get ready.
