Blogging from 34000 feet over Canada
I've just spent 10 days in Redmond and on my way back. Since I have couple of meetings in Copenhagen then I'm flying SAS directly from Seattle to Copenhagen. The really cool thing about this flight is that they have wireless internet connection onboard. For $29.95 I can let those 10 1/2 hours of flight pass more quickly. SAS decided to try this technology out first on this very common route for us Microsofties. The speed of this is actually quite good considering we are 34000 feet up in the air! I'm estimating that I'm getting about 72-128Kbps or close to that.
Too bad I'm not in Economy Plus or Business Class since there I would have a power outlet for the computer also. So I have to revert to switching batteries after a while.
Well - they just served dinner - so goodbye from 34000 feet for now...
