A small world at 35000 feet

Yet again the world proofs to me that it is small. Sitting here at 35000 feet I meet someone I know. It is the smartest non-MS SOA guys I've met Clemens Vasters. We've had the pleasure of hosting two events in Iceland in which he has been a speaker. The first one was a Microsoft EMEA Architecture Tour and the second was the Industrial Strength SOA Workshop. In both cases I learned sooooo much. If you haven't subscribed to his blog yet, I suggest you do, because it is always educational and fun to read.

He has also written a very cool sample application called Proseware and hopefully the people at MSDN will hurry up the process of getting it released. It is exactly what we who like to play at the forefront of SOA development need to help us get through those first architectural steps.

And guess what - Clemens has just blogged about this experience. I like his reference to a "geek-orgasm" :-) So far I've only written a line to everybody I know on MSN that is on-line saying I'm at 35000 feet.
