WSE and MTOM

If you are using WSE 3.0 and MTOM and was wondering why the client code is not streaming the request...you are not alone. A bug in WSE 3.0 was preventing the client from doing streaming with MTOM. We have this fixed and a QFE has been released. As all QFE's go, you have to contact customer support to get it. :-)

I am desperately trying to find this hotfix Id number from the MSDN managed newsgroups and via a MSDN online support guy (Steven Cheng, who posted the last item about this QFE on microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.webservices.enhancements in a thread called 'MTOM and WSE' back in november/December 2006). :-(

Unfortunately no one has replied to my requests I would be very grateful if you could provide me with the id.  then I can call MSDN to get the download :-)

Hi Nick,

  Below is what our PSS folks had to say.

They will have to go through CSS to get this hotfix. It is not available for download off the web yet. It's a free case, the customer just needs to call in (1-800-936-5800) and ask for WSE3 QFE1 and we'll get it for them.
