Yukon for Developers: Fairfax, VA, Wednesday, March 3rd / Baltimore, MD, Thursday, March 4th
Yukon is the next generation of SQL Server. We unveiled it at the PDC last year, and if you want to know more about it, all the PDC sessions are available online. Some of the coolest developer features include .NET integration, so you can write stored procedures using languages like C# and VB.NET, and support for XML data and XQuery.
I'm going to be doing an overview of Yukon for Developers in a couple of places next week. I'll be at Potomac Area Foxpro Users Group next Wednesday, March 3rd, at 6:30 PM. (Trust me on this, their web site is wrong!) They meet at the Mosby building in Fairfax, VA.
On Thursday, March 4th, I'll be at Baltimore SQL Server Users Group. The meeting starts with pizza at 6:30 PM, and I'll be presenting from 7:00 -8:30 PM. They meet at SM Consulting, near to BWI Airport. To pre-register or join their mailing list, contact Ray Barley of RDA.
