Volunteers Sought for Philadelphia SQL Server Users Group Committee

Would you like to meet some new friends in the geek community, have some fun, and have a cool title to use on your resume? I knew you did.

The Philadelphia SQL Server Users Group, is looking for committee volunteers, including: Marketing and Promotion, Membership Coordinator, Web Site Management and Content, Speakers and Contributors, Newsletter Contributor, Volunteers at Large, Steering Committee, Meeting Coordinator, and Chairpersons at Large. (I'm not sure exactly how large you have to be to be a “Chairperson at Large.“)

This group has started well and is growing nicely, but up to now it has been run single-handedly by Chuck Boyce. He's done a great job, but he's doing a smart thing by creating a committee.

There's a kickoff meeting for volunteers on Tuesday, March 30th at 6:30 PM at Capriccio Coffee Shop, 1701 Locust St, Philadelphia. If you can't make it, but would like to volunteer, contact the PSSUG Volunteer Coordinator, Vince Napoli, or the chapter leader, Chuck Boyce. More information is here.
