Rafal Lukawiecki in Belgium : Practical Security & Digital Trust seminar !
Woow folks. One of my favorite speakers is coming over to Belgium : the one & only Rafal Lukawiecki - guess our local marketing folks do seem to have budget left! :-)
Seriously, on March 31st at Kinepolis Brussels, Rafal Lukawiecki will deliver a full day seminar about Practical Security & Digital Trust. The seminar aims to equip IT professionals - who are in charge of designing, deploying and administering systems - with more structured proactive defenses.
The number of threats and attacks targeting e-business organizations is on the increase. During the seminar, Rafal will present a number of practical suggestions, checklists and processes that you can use immediately to increase the security of your systems. The day will begin with a process-oriented, “holistic”, view of security. He will then continue looking at both active (attack detection, hardening, filtering etc.) and passive (cryptography, PKI) modern forms of building security. Rafal will finish the day with an overview of the concepts of digital trust (e-notary, time-stamps, trusted signatures, DRM etc.) that often form part of the future security-related plans of larger organizations.
This seminar has already been successfully delivered in other countries with overall ratings higher than 85%.
More information on the event, the full agenda and registration is available on the following TechNet Belux page: http://www.microsoft.com/belux/nl/technet/events/security_digitaltrust.mspx.
Guess I'll be seeing you on 31st March ! (if my wife allows me, cause i'll be on a holiday by then) :-)
Regards,
Guntherb
