I'm an Architect Evangelist within the Microsoft DPE team with over 18 years commercial experience in the IT, telecoms, digital media and finance industries. I joined Microsoft Australia in 2004.
My prior experience includes architecting high-traffic (and in other cases high-hype) web sites in the halcyon days of Web 1.0 before the web world generally worried about such trivial matters as business models, revenue etc.
I now focus a lot of my time on Software + Services and adoption of cloud platform services - specifically their role in extending enterprise and ISV architecture. I also have an on-going fascination with the media industry and high-impact presentation layer technologies like Silverlight and WPF.
Little known fact: In the Marvel universe I am apparently able to manipulate gravity.
