Trong suốt 2 tháng qua qua rất nhiều lập trình viên và một số cán bộ kỹ thuật của các đối tác ở ViệtNam rất quan tâm đến việc triển khai và phát triển ứng dụng trên nền tảng Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server 2007 (viết tắt là MOSS 2007). Để gíup các anh chị và các bạn có những thông tin cơ bản và chọn lọc liên quan , thông qua một số đồng nghiệp ở Microsoft tôi xin phép tập hợp một số địa chỉ các trang thông tin, tài liệu nói về Sharepoint Server và Windows Sharepoint Service. Với doanh thu 800 triệu USD năm qua Microsoft office sharepoint server 2007( MOSS 2007) đã góp phần đưa Microsoft trở thành công ty đứng đầu về Application Server software hiện nay. Trong thời gian qua rất nhiều chuyên gia, đối tác và khách hàng hỏi tôi câu hỏi "MOSS 2007 được triển khai ở các công ty lớn chưa?" , "anh Hải có thể cung cấp cho chúng tôi danh sách những khách hàng , đối tác lớn của Microsoft đã và đang triển khai SHAREPOINT SERVER 2007 được không". Về Case Studies của MOSS 2007 thì rất nhiều và hôm nay tôi xin lần lượt giới thiệu 1 trong những đối tác và cũng là khách hàng điển hình trên thế giới đang sử dụng Sharepoint Server 2007 cũng như Microsoft Plattform đó là hãng máy tính Dell , một trong những hãng lớn nhất về Computer và đã ứng dụng rất thành công thương mại điện tử .

Dell Case Study Showcase of Consolidation, Manageability, and Scale

Dell's SharePoint Server 2007 Deployment showcases how Dell Computer is consolidating :300 SharePoint Portal Server 2003 Servers into a consolidated SharePoint Server 2007 environment with 16 SQL instances with over 35 TB of capacity. It also showcases how this scale will be modular by simply adding additional Front Ends or SQL nodes. The manageability aspects of this consolidation are highlighted.

They use to use File Servers and Public Folders, then they went to SPS 2003, now they are moving to a consolidated MOSS 2007 environment. This is one customer I'm going to continue to keep my eye on.
