Creating the vision for your solution and the blueprint of various aspects of what you are going to build and deliver both at a conceptual and logical level are artifacts that architects own as a role.Once execution begins, the role of the architect starts diminishing much as in the case of the brick and mortar architect, with just an oversight role being sufficient.
