HealthVault Data Types

Request for interest: Explanation Of Benefits (EOB) data type creation

Would your HealthVault application benefit from being able to create or consume EOB data in a HealthVault record?  If so, we'd like to hear from you.  We're in the research and design phase of creating a new HealthVault data type to store EOB data and are requesting samples and scenarios describing usage of this type of data.

Please add your ideas, scenarios and comments and we'll be in touch with next steps.

We are considering using HealthVault for the delivery mechanism for our EOB's, when our customers no longer want snail mail.

Yes.  As a mother of 2 disabled children, who have many, many EOB statements mailed to the house.  The ability to sort and query the data will be so much easier.  This can also simplify data entry for all past health records.

We are looking to help some local large group payers develop an electronic delivery of claim and financial data to HealthVault, so this would definitely fall into this space.
