I found out about live search video (http://www.live.com/video). You type the keywords, and it searches videos that are relevant to your query, it shows the thumbnail preview of the video. Ok fine.

When I about to click one of the video, IT MOVED! Simply by hovering my mouse over a thumbnail, it will play that particular video inside the search page. That is cool. You can see if the videos are relevant to you, not only through the preview thumbnail, but by playing the video. Surprisingly awesome.

Paparazzi for the Computer Literate

Again from Microsoft Product Fair, I found out one thing that I had never known that we were doing it. Microsoft has Microspotting blog, paparazzi site for the geeks.

The evil empire has human faces, you can check that blog to see about the people behind the code, what it is like to work inside Microsoft. It is an interesting read, especially if you are not familiar with Microsoft. I think Ariel did a good job there.

Who knows, you may ended up working with one of the person that has been microspotted.

Search and Give

Starting yesterday, we have product fair, where full time employees have the opportunity to check out other groups’ product, playing with new cool things, and also grabbing some SWAG.

One thing that caught my attention is Search and Give. You can search your favorite non-profit organization, and every time you search, Microsoft will make annual collective donation to your charity.

You can search and also make a difference. http://searchandgive.com.
