I wanted to make you aware that WSS 3.0 has been Released to Web and is available for download.  Before going any further please note that Installing Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 over any beta or trial edition of Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 is not supported. 

Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 is now available to users of Windows Server 2003. You can download Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 using the links below. Please note the different links for standard (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions.
