Windows Vista Hardware Assessment 2 Release
Microsoft Solution Accelerators Team is pleased to announce the release of the Windows Vista Hardware Assessment 2 (WVHA) at the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference on July 10. This new tool allows partners and corporate customers to quickly inventory their network environment and accelerate the deployments of Windows Vista and 2007 Microsoft Office.
What is WVHA?
WVHA is an agent-less network inventory tool designed to help customers and partners quickly discover and assess the readiness of their workstations and laptops for Windows Vista and 2007 Microsoft Office. It provides in-depth hardware and device compatibility analysis and actionable upgrade recommendations for each PC discovered on the network for migration to Windows Vista and 2007 Microsoft Office. Most importantly, this tool does not require any agent software to be deployed on machines to be inventoried.
