I’ve Been Tagged

I was recently "tagged" by my friend and co-worker Glenn to divulge to you 5 personal things that you don't know (and probably don't care) about me. So while I would hate to be a buzz-kill and not play along, I'll keep it brief. So … deep breath … here goes …

  • My wife and I are expecting our first child sometime in mid July. Yes – I'm petrified.
  • I love computers and software but am really not into gaming and have a cell phone that is so out of date, you would never suspect that I work in technology.
  • I am a drummer and used to run a recording studio – unfortunately, those skills don't help too much in my position at Microsoft.
  • I love pretty much any mountain-based sport/activity. This is actually kind of funny since I have lived most of my life in Houston, Texas.
  • I spent a week in the hospital when I was about 5 years old because I made a rubber band gun out of Lego's and when I tried to shoot it, one of the pieces broke off and hit me in the eye, actually cutting the eye itself. Ironically, I made this self-inflicting weapon because my parents refused to let me get a wooden rubber band gun, citing danger as the sole reason.

Ok, so there you have it – my life in a nutshell. Finally, I will "tag" a couple folks to keep this crazy joke going. The chosen few are as follows.
