Windows Embedded Team - Call Delta ASAP!
I'm currently sitting on a plane between Redmond and New York and just had something funny happened. Recently, Delta put in a new entertainment system where a screen is mounted on back of every seat, giving the traveler individual control over what he/she wishes to watch. Nice idea. Anyways, the system had already crashed twice when, rather than powering it down, the flight attendant reset the system - which allowed me to see the system boot sequence on my little screen.
All I can say is that I felt very sorry for the poor little penguin in the upper left hand corner as it tried and tried - but never succeeded in loading. Don't get me wrong - I'm not a Linux hater - I ran it for years to manage my home infrastructure. However, the Microsoft employee in me did chuckle a bit.
Good thing I decided against ordering Shrek 3!
