My blog is intended to share my daily troubleshooting experiences and hopefully help you resolve some common (or even very uncommon) and hard to diagnose problems which you could encounter while trying to use any of the products and technologies developed by the SQL Server Business Unit at Microsoft (i.e. SQL Server, Analysis Services, Reporting Services, etc).
I'm an escalation engineer in CSS (Customer Support Services) mostly working to solve SQL Server issues (because I'm paid for that), but who also finds appealing trespassing those theoretical limits to learn diagnosing any type of problems which are supposed to be out of my area of expertise. I hope this explains why you will see some information in this blog which you wouldn't expect to be here otherwise. :-)
