Microsoft, Adobe, Mozilla, Sun, &amp;amp; Google should have found a way to encourage the w3c &amp;amp; IEEE to create a new tag to avoid this.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;@svasutin: a new tag wouldn't have resolved the patent problem.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Interesting that no one has sued firefox yet.&lt;/p&gt;
