You have told me I need an automation strategy and why; You told me they should be realistic (well duh); You also told me that it should have measurable goals, which should be the case for EVERYTHING in a developement project; BUT you didn't tell me what I really need to know and that is "How to design a test automation strategy" or at least a clue like "The main parts a test automation strategy should contain".

Yeah, Yeah, I already Googled it for 2 days straight and got the same vague, beat-around-the-bush responses from just about every source.

So, can you point me to some resources that can actually tell/show/explain how to create a test automation strategy. Examples would be good, templates even better. Just looking for some "real" help... I already know that they are important and I need to know how to create one. I just need to know how.

Thanks,

William
