&lt;p&gt;In order to design against a UDC file, it needs to exist in a data connection library. &amp;nbsp;There is no design experience against files in the entrally managed library. &amp;nbsp;Design against the UDC file in the DCL, and then change the connection link type to &amp;quot;centrally managed&amp;quot;, and upload the file into the centrally managed library.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I am setting up a webservice data connection for my infopath form(using the url &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://servername:portnumber/_vti_bin/userpromileservice.asmx?WSDL"&gt;http://servername:portnumber/_vti_bin/userpromileservice.asmx?WSDL&lt;/a&gt;) and it is throwing me the error saying that &amp;quot;Infopath form can not access the webservice&amp;quot; . If I go into the details, it gives the following error.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The file is not a valid XML file.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The form contains XML that cannot be parsed:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;XML document must have a top level element.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Line 0, Position 0&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If i access other userprofileservices, It is establishing the connection properly. But I &amp;nbsp;am unable to do the same for a perticular site.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am running this site on port 5500&lt;/p&gt;
