&lt;p&gt;I have tried the second one [udcx file for connecting to Access DB] which was failed and thrown an exception saying that &amp;quot;Local Path or Network Path is not allowed as Data Source&amp;quot;.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I want to sort SharePoint list by a column in a udcx file and I cannot find the way [I read universal data connection 2.0 XML File Structure Specification document but query example is for a SQL DB and do works for a MOSS list]. Do any body have an idea?&lt;/p&gt;
