A teammate was wondering how to stop the flow of email from her business Outlook account over a long weekend. For a Windows Mobile 5.x or 6.x device, here's what you can do:

There is an alternate way to do this. If your mobile device (when did we stop calling them phones?) has Microsoft Direct Push, there is a simpler way. Direct Push is like Active Sync, except it has just an on and off setting. On; you get your email pushed to you right away. Off, cuts the chord. Some phones have Direct Push in there Communication Manager Settings. Note: phones that have Direct Push also have Active Sync).
