I downloaded and used the PowerPoint templete confetti animation for my 40th Birthday invitation annoucement. Unfortunately, I didn't realize it would require everyone I sent it to to download the same templete and view the slide show from within the folder/file that the zipped file was stored. Still, they can read what I wrote, just not see any animation.

It looks GREAT on my computer, lol. They don't know what they're missing.

I'm glad that you liked the confetti template! That's one I was playing around with before I posted.

I'm sorry to hear that you weren't able to share it. Yeah, one of the things to remember when using those templates is that you need to make sure that you keep all of the files (template, related files, and files that you create from the template) all together in a single folder if you want to send it to others. You'll want to send the whole folder if you want to share it.

How you used the templates - as a birthday invitation - is a great idea. I hope that your 40th birthday party went well!

Oh yeah, I should add that you can probably only upload the static slide (no animatios) to the customer submitted template site.

But, if you have any other cool templates you'd like to share, that would also be the place to share them!

That's odd...Office 2007 .ppt isn't a supported file type; at least, that the error code i'm getting.
