Pass phrases instead of pass words

Published 18 January 06 11:15 AM | Ivan Joseph

Interesting idea which has been around for a while but I don't know if popular. Instead of passwords which usually are coined based on birthdays, anniversaries, other interesting dates around ones lives - and which consequently may be less secure, use pass phrases. Better still give it a twist so that only you know it.

For example - a pass phrase could be - make hay while the sun shines and a twist on that could be make hay while the rain pours - you will remember this and it is hard for somebody to guess what it could be.
