We saved the best for last!

VS 2008 and .Net 3.5 Beta 2 (code name "Orcas") is now available.

Here is the link to download.

I am extremely excited about this release due to a number of features that I have been passionately advocating on behalf of the customer for several years.

For all those customers who have been asking for the ability to allow an application to Host WPF Add-In’s – It is now in the Beta2 release!!!

I will be posting a link to a web video I did showing the new isolatable (i.e., Cross AppDomain) WPF functionality built upon the Orcas Add-In model.  That’s right, UI extensibility on MAF!

You can read about this new feature, as well as a few more highly requested Add-In features, now available in 3.5 Beta2, on this CLR Add-In blog post.

It’s a great time to be an ISV developer, as well as a developer that extends ISV applications.
