Answers to this week's "unanswerables" from my MSDN and User Group events

Q. Is it possible to transfer the ROM of a mobile device into an emulator?
A. Before I address this question, I first want to share a link to the documentation on the Windows Mobile Device Emulator.  That shared, I have confirmed with the Windows Mobile Product Manager that only OEMs can create device emulator images for Windows Mobile devices. However, for Windows CE devices, developers can use Platform Builder to create Windows CE emulator images - they just won't have the Windows Mobile shell, apps, etc.

Q. What is the deployment mechanism for WBA WPF apps?
A. Karen Corby has written a great introduction to the web browser application (WBA) in Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) that answers this question and more.
