We are hosting this year’s Local and Regional Government Solutions forum in Bilbao on the 22nd and 23rd April.  The site is up and running here and if you want to come along please speak to your local Microsoft rep, or contact Claire Bibby (cbibby@microsoft.com) as places are limited.

The theme for this year’s event is the EU’s impending i2010 programme.  In the current economic climate citizens are looking to their local and regional governments for strong leadership, innovative services, and streamlined and frugal budgeting.

I will be hosting a session on Identity (traditionally a subject people find only slightly less dull than tax accounting)  I will however be breaking with this tradition and delivering a informative, lively and interesting session on Identity within Local Government.
