About Me.

I'm James Chittenden.

I've been on both sides of the fence working in both the design and development community as an interaction designer...so I've done design for a while now. I work for Microsoft focusing mostly on government customers - talking about why UX Matters along with the cool stuff we're coming out in UX technologies. Prior to joining Microsoft, I worked with several Dallas-based design agencies as well as consulting firms such as Accenture, focusing on delivering rich interactive systems across a wide variety of industries. I also have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Art Institute of Dallas as well as a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Colorado Tech.

I set up camp in Colorado, although I've lived in Texas for most of his life. The reason I stay here is mostly for the snowboarding and mountain biking.....oh, and learning 4 wheel drive is a bit more important when you live a mile above sea level.
