I'm one of the lucky three who is in the content planning group for MDC.  You can blame me - in part at least - if the session you wanted to come and see doesn't make it to MDC.  We're striving for the right balance of tried and trusted sessions. new ideas and content covering forthcoming platforms.  We have the session listing pretty much worked out and that should be live on the MDC site (see links).  Now we begin the process of getting the speakers to work on their sessions.  What this means for me is I sit with each of the speakers, tell them what MDC is all bout, talk about the session we've pencilled them in for and get them to buy off on presenting the session.

In other news.  A “Come to MDC” poster appeared on my door over the weekend.  Kevin, I assume, is to blame.  Cheers mate!  However, I did begin to get palpably excited about MDC for the first time.  It's nearer than I think it is and will be what I live and breath for the next two months. I'm pretty excited, we've got some exciting things to talk about.
