Expert F#

What's a better book to read when learning F#?

Essential WPF

Thus far the best book I've read on WPF. Gets right down to working with WPF and the goals/history.

Purely Functional Data Structures

Reading this book makes me feel like I'm back in college. It will really get your mind going and is best read with a whiteboard handy.

Updated Version of RunAsAdmin Available

Valery  Pryamikov has released an update version of his RunAsAdmin tool.  This version has a lot of new features including policy and stronger integration with the shell.  This version is still in Beta but it's been very stable for me.

I like Valery's tool,it definitely helps out some. I would like a few more features to really make my life simple while running as a LUA. It really is a pain in the neck though.
I wish MS itself would create some tools to make it easier for people to do this, but programs are part of the problem too. Many of them need admin rights to run the first time. Some use the account and create settings with that specific profile, so then your LUA account still doesn't have the settings it needs. *sigh* Normal users would give up way to quickly.

Not just programs! There is a .NET Framework component that runs under admin and crashes under user. Try System.Net.HttpListener in .NET 2.0.

mihailik,

Have you filed a bug for HttpListener (http://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/productfeedback/)? I don't work on the System.Net team but if there is a crash when running HttpListener as LUA I'm sure they would be interested in seeing it.
