Expert F#

What's a better book to read when learning F#?

Essential WPF

Thus far the best book I've read on WPF. Gets right down to working with WPF and the goals/history.

Purely Functional Data Structures

Reading this book makes me feel like I'm back in college. It will really get your mind going and is best read with a whiteboard handy.

Speaking at Dev Connections in Las Vegas Next Week

Next week I will be speaking at Dev Connections in Las Vegas.  I will be running the following sessions

  • VMS02: Future Directions for Visual Basic
  • VMS04: Microsoft Visual Basic IDE Tips and Tricks

Both of these talks will spend a bit of time talking about all of the progress and exciting new features we’ve added in Dev10.  Given I primarily work on the IDE these days, expect a bit of IDE content to work it’s way into the Future Directions talk as well.

Hi Jared,

I attended your two sessions at DevConnections. I was wondering if I could get a copy of your two presentations.

Thanks,
