Jason Langridge's WebLog - MR Mobile!

The guys from Tech Faith Wireless showed me these devices at CommunicAsia - thats where I shot these pictures. They also told me that at least for the Smartphone (the first picture) they already have a big company for a worldwide release. So we will see what happens next. ;-)

This is unrelated to the post, but it seemes like this is blog might be the best place to get in contact with someone inside microsofts pocket pc world.

I am looking at "voice command" for ppc and while the overall product looks mind blowing .. I am shocked to find out that reviewers note that the software cannot be triggered via a bluetooth headset!?!

Now that can't be real! This is the single most important use case for this software! However in the reviews I read that you can determine which button should trigger things, so shouldn't I be able to simply trigger the software with the call button on my bluetooth headset (btw I also have the Planttronics 590A stereo headsets)?

Still odd that Microsoft would not support this use case out of the box.
