Right now I am carrying the HTC Wizard published by Cingular which is branded as the 8125.  I won the an 8125 and a 2125 at Tech Ed as the winner of the Cingular Mobility Pack.   I'll probably swap these guys out depending on what i'm doing.  Traveling, 8125, going biking or whatever take the 2125.

If I hadn't won these devices I may have waited for the HP 69xx.  For my personal preference I prefer something with a keyboard on the front that runs pocket pc.  When I met you at Tech Ed I really liked the Samsung i320 you showed me.  It is such a hot little SmartPhone it's pathetic.  I don't see corporate america buying to many of them though to replace their crack berries though because of the keyboard size.  The Samsung i320 is amazingly thin and is the perfect size of something that would serve my needs for phone and email.  

For people that want a blackberry replacement, something like the HP 69xx is probably going to do well as long as it is priced accordingly.  The problem a lot of the time is these devices are way over priced and it makes it hard for the massives to obtain them.   My $.02.

Cingular 8125/HTC Wizard for me. Once Cingular comes out with their 3G network/UMTS/HSDPA support in more areas I'll likely get the HTC Hermes/Tytn. Right now, I don't see that happening until at least 2007 at the earliest, but I guess anything can happen.

As usual Europe will get those devices first since t-mobile and vodafone already have their 3g networks going in some parts. Cingular has stated that they hope to have 100 markets on 3g by the end of 2006. They are already behind Sprint and Verizon by a year, so that would be nice.

I bought 2 Sprint PPC-6700 for my small business. These devices are great!

Another Cingular 8125 here. I love this device.  Had a Treo 650 immediately before it, and admire the Treo form factor a lot, but Palm OS is not for me.  8125 has been all I hoped for and more, and the new MSFP for it is superb!

I'm also leaning towards / lusting after the HTC Hermes whenever it appears over here.  And yes please, some faster Cingular data plans would be marvelous ...

Previously had the JASJAR but dropped it! Great device but too big and heavy. Also answering calls was a difficult with the twist display screen.Just ordered the Tytn(Hermes) from Expansys. Almost same functionality for the smaller form factor and you can see who's calling.

After a short dalliance with the O2 Xda IQ I've decided that I just can't live without a keyboard anymore so it's back to my beloved Xda Mini S for me.

The TyTN seems to fix the remaining bugbears I have with the Mini S (i.e. 3G and faster processor) so I will probably stump for that next.

I am currently using a jasjar with a nokia 6230 for voice calls, but will change both for the loox 830 when it finally appears, although the Tytn looks great!

I tend to swap between an XDA Exec, XDA Mini S & an Imate SP5m, I've just picked up a HP6515 to play with as well.

As mentioned previously, when the TyTN or Hermes appears, I'll probably plump for one of those as well.

TyTN all the way. I have a C600 just now which is a great little phone. I also had an M5000 which was a very cool device but a little big and slow. Plus the bluetooth problem used to drive me mad. However, I lost my M5000...:-)  How do you loose one of those???

Personally I 'm not a fan of inbuilt keyboards - added bulk for infrequent use - I prefer my stowaway when I need to use it - having had an Orange M500 (imate Jam) for a year I'm a big fan of it's form factor and was about to go for the M600 (Jamin)  but I'll  wait for 3G  functionality now .  I'd prefer a JAMin with 3g  rather than the Tytn but no signs of that yet.  

Waiting for my backordered HP 6915 to ship :-)

I like the looks of the MotoQ, waiting for it ot become available to the European merket.

Cingular 8125..

K-Jam for personal use, and a XV6700 for work. Prefer the EVDO modem speeds, but hate the phone. K-Jam battery outlasts the 6700 by 3X.

Sort of wish I had a SP5, SP5m or 8500 to use for certain travel situations (i.e. biking, hiking, etc)

I will probably get the Motorola Q.  I had considered a Treo 700w, but it seems bulky.  I want something light enough to fit in my pocket.

I know the 700w has a touch screen and the Q does not.  A friend told me the Outlook interface for the 700w is more robust than that of the Q.  Can anyone verify this?

I have the Moto Q from Verizon, the 8125 and 2125 from Cingular and Kjam and SP5 from IMate.  I had two Ferrari JasJars, but alas I needed to give those to the big guys in the office upstairs!

All in all, I like the IMate SP5 the best I think, and would put the 2125 a close second.  SP5 rules, with the built in 802.11.  Great stuff on the SMartphone platform!

I really like the Q but we are a GSM company and we wont scale it 'till it comes out on the GSM networks.  One think I am not thrilled with with the Q is the Moto versions of the mini USB power cables.  Why cant I use the same ones that all the HTC stuff uses?  Also, it will be a much better device once you can get it with AKU 2 in a month or so!

I Currenty carry the QTech 9100, but will be very interest when the HTC StrTrk gets released in the UK (Vodafone) which I believe should be by the end of July (or sooner!).  With 3G and WiFi, it gives very good overall capabilities, especially as I hate browsing with GPRS!

I have also used the Nokia E61 and am really looking forward to a Windows device that offers the same specs's (3G, GOOD keyboard, workable joypad, easy phone etc.) and usability that the E61 gives...maybe the Palm.  This is the only area that I don't really like the Windows devices, the OS is not a phone and stil feel like a bolt on to the device.  I'm hoping with what Palm have done in the past that this might be solved by there customisations.

I am waiting for an SD I/O, SDHC, BT 2.0 EDR, UMTS HSDPA enabled PPC with a 4:3 touchscreen. It does not seem like there is anything on the horizon though :(
