A blog dedicated to Windows Mobile in the Enterprise!
The launch version of the Windows Mobile Device Center has been released to the web for download!
You can download it from HERE
Does it allow for ROM updates?
Anybody find a x64 version? I'm trying to find if there is one available and can't find anything yet.
Finally found it -

Any word on when Device Emulator 2.0 RTM will be out in the wild?
Possible to install device emulator + emulator image (msfp)+ virtual network machine driver into vista ?
Anyone tried it before ? i tried on my enterprise vista machine and it failed.
Anyone else notice that the BT stack that MS ships has almost no functionality? In other words it's almost impossible to use WMDC and bluetooth to sync.
RUU does not work with this final version.
A link at <a heref='http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=1118167'>xda-developers </a>, which I have not tested, but that provides a solution...
My device came with outlook 2002 on a cd, which will not install in vista. Why wont it sync with windows calender?
Cant get WMDC to sync via BLuetooth with Toshiba stack but it will without issue using the MS stack, argh!!!
What com port is it using, would be useful to know, my Toshibs stack is preconfigured for activesync on Com 7 and works in XP without a hitch.
Hey folks - to answer your questions...
64 bit version should be available on the web.
Emulator does not work with WMDC yet - we will announce when we do have a version to work with WMDC
There is no support for sync with windows calendar
The WMDC currently does not allow for ROM updates
For Bluetooth sync support - there is a dependancy on the BT implementation on the PC
