The Microsoft Secure Content Downloader (MSCD), based on the Avalanche peer-to-peer (P2P) technologies allows users to download the product faster (or so we want to prove!).

So let us know how the process of download goes for you!

Dan,

There is the suspicion that this problem is caused by IPv6 misconfiguration.

To reconfigure IPv6, you may use these commands:

- netsh int ipv6 show all

- netsh int ipv6 uninstall (may require restart)

- netsh int ipv6 install (to reinstall IPv6)

- netsh int ipv6 set ter cli (to enable teredo)

After all this steps if you type

- netsh int ipv6 show all

it should show a valid IPv6 address starting with 2001:0:xxxx.

Now running MSCD again and it should work...

I also had this problem and this seems to have fixed int.

On XP SP2, I didn't have the 'all' option for netsh int ipv6 show. Doing a show address didn't show a 2001:0:xxxx address, but it's working anyway.
