Too personal?

I’ve received some good feedback from some of the followers on this blog site. Perhaps this isn’t the best forum for discussing my personal issues. I thought you’d all like to hear about something other than technical news/issues and hear some more personal stuff from a Microsoft employee.

I've removed all the personal info I posted earlier today and I'll repost to another web locale in the near future.

You can post personal topics to your feed, and not post it to the main feed by selecting "Advanced options", deselect "include in aggregated site".

Speaking just for myself, I *like* seeing personal glimpses sprinkled in among the technical content. I don't care to see entire postings about anybody's cat, but I want voices in blogspace to seem like real people.

Its fine by me - adds a pleasant bit of variety to the blogs.msdn.com feed. Other folks may have different expectations, but I think its your choice. As far as I know there isn't any mandatory guideance about the contents of these blogs.

I like personal info in blog posts, makes me feel like I'm talking to (or listening to) a real person.
If someone don't like that kind of post can just skip them... I think it's really up to you
