Lang.Net 2008 Videos Available

We held our second Lang.Net Symposium on campus at the end of January and the videos from the event are now online here.  John Lam has a great summary of the event here.

I gave the opening keynote in the morning (sorry for the microphone issues, it kept popping during the talk).

I really like this conference for a couple of reasons:  it is one of the only forums where 85% of the audience has actually written a compiler, and we had a good showing from multiple companies not just Microsoft.

Thanks to the dynamic languages team for creating and running the event!

Hi, it was great that the videos were posted online!

The thing is, from last night to this morning (GMT+1) the website seems to have been reset, or at least all the content disappeared and http://www.langnetsymposium.com/ is right now redirecting to a mail login page.

[I had a bit of a hard time figuring out who were the organizers of the conference, that's why I'm posting this here]

I pinged the feature team running the site and it sounds like they are having capacity issues from the hoster due to the high interest.  They are actively working on fixing this one.  Sorry for outage on this
