"Shocking Velocity" by Srikanth Srinivasan
I was reading this book and except for the cover, I loved what was in there. If you have read Goldratt's "The Goal", you will find Srikanth's style very familiar. He drives home concepts with simple examples and common talk. The initial chapters focus on the 4Vs (Variety, Velocity, Variability and Value), the critical variables you can tune to achieve business value. I found this book practical and very useful for supply chain practitioners
